Fourth Fatality Confirmed From Purcell Crash

The highway patrol now confirms a fourth person has died as a result of Monday's crash on I-35 near Purcell that involved a semi and an SUV. A 13-year-old girl in the SUV was initially taken to the hospital in critical condition. The highway patrol now says the girl has died of injuries sustained in the crash.

40-year-old Erin Van Horn of Tulsa was driving the SUV with six children in the vehicle when she slammed into the back of a semi that was stopped on the interstate, possibly because of construction in the area. Van Horn was killed along with two children, ages 10 and 11. And now the fourth victim has died. Two other children, both age 13, remain hospitalized in critical condition.
