Carter County Sheriff Chris Bryant tells KTOK News a woman was attacked and killed by seven dogs Thursday night in a rural area east of Ardmore. He says the woman lived in the area and was a distant relative of the dogs' owner. He says the woman was so severely injured that she died at the scene. He says some people tried to save the woman but the dogs turned on them. The dogs were eventually caught and taken to a vet where the owner had them euthanized.
