OPEA Plans To Sue Health Department Over Lost Jobs

The Oklahoma Public Employees Association announced today it has notified the State Health Department it plans to file a lawsuit on behalf of 161 former employees who it claims were wrongfully terminated in December 2017 and March 2018. Executive Director Sterling Zearley says the former employees were terminated, forced to resign or take early retirement due to the department's mismanagement and mishandling of state finances.
