Nondiscrimination in Treatment Bills;

Contact State Legislators Today

Please contact your state representative to urge support for the pro-life bills pending on the floor of the Oklahoma House of Representatives. The three pro-life Rose Day bills have been approved in committee and await action by the full House.
Urge your representative to support HB 1588, theParental Notification for Abortion Act, requiring that a parent of a minor must be notified before an abortion can be performed on her. You can identify your own representative by going to our website, www.OkForLife.org. Click onFind Your Legislators. Type your address, then scroll down to the fifth entry for your representative's contact information.
Urge your representative, also, to support HB 2015, the Abortion-Reporting Law update. Reporting requirements for abortions and abortion complications need to be updated to reflect recently enacted pro-life laws.
And urge your representative to support HB 1403, the Nondiscrimination in Treatment Act, which protects a patient from being denied life-preserving treatment (when the patient wants the treatment and can pay for it, and the treatment could preserve the patient's life) because of an arbitrary judgment of a medical provider that the patient's life is not worth living.
And please ask your senator to support SB 915, the Senate version of theNondiscrimination in Treatment Act (identical to the House version). You could identify your state senator by going to our website, www.OkForLife.org. Click on Find Your Legislators. Type your address, then scroll down to the fourth entry for your state senator's contact information.
