Back to normal now in Moore, after Plaza Tower Elementary School was in lockdown for a while this morning after a teacher found a loaded handgun on his chair when he got to work earlier today.
Jeremy Lewis with the Moore Police tells NewsRadio 1000 KTOK no one was injured and officers conducted a search of the campus to see if there were any more firearms on the campus grounds.
All of the students were brought to the cafeteria area as officers continued their search. No one was injured.
Parents bringing their children to school were told by officials to go back home and await further info from the school.
Lewis adds that the school has the ability to get the word out as soon as officers clear the grounds so that school can resume normally.
