Under investigation now in Norman...the shooting of a woman just a few blocks away from where a woman was shot to death last month.

Our broadcast partners at NewsChannel 4 KFOR reporting that the woman was found in a pickup truck near the intersection of Petefrs and Johnson at around 10 p.m. last night.

The woman has been identified as 40-year-old Lisa Nardine and was taken to Norman Regional Hospital.

Police say her wounds are not life threatening.

Officials say they are pursuing leads in the case, but they have made no arrests.

Just a few blocks away from that scene was where 57-year-old Mary Ellyn Benavidez was found shot to death last month.

20-year-old Dustin Dale Allen facing charges in that case.

Benavidez was Norman's first homicide victim of the year.
