Oklahoma City school officials held a news conference Wednesday to reveal what they called new information about the Douglass High School grade tampering investigation. Deputy Superintendent Sandra Park said as the result of an extensive investigation conducted by an independent attorney hired by the district, Douglass High School principal Dr. Brian Staples has been placed on administrative leave with pay. "We take the results of this ongoing investigation seriously," she said. "A majority of the allegations were unfounded. However, we are continuing our investigation of the remaining allegations."
