No new rape trial for suspended OSU basketball player Darrell Williams. Instead, a Payne County judge Friday gave him a one year suspended sentence. Williams has been in jail since July when he was convicted on rape and sexual battery charges for allegedly sexually assaulting two women at a party in December 2010. He denies the allegations. He was freed from jail today and is expected to return to Chicago with his family. His attorney says there will be an appeal. He was ordered to pay court costs and register as a sex offender.
