A big night for Republicans in Oklahoma, an historically big night.

In addition to Mitt Romney winning all 77 counties...for the first time in state history Republicans have swept to victory in all of Oklahoma's Congressional races.

Newcomers Jim Bridenstine and Markwayne Mullen took districts 1 and 2 from their Democrat challengers and all three incumbents, Frank Lucas, Tom Cole and James Lankford, easily won re-election.

In the state house, Republicans won three more seats...increasing their majority from 69-32 to 72-29.

In the state senate, the GOP added four seats increasing the majority there from 32-16 to 36-12.

All six state questions passed...so DHS will be re-structured, the governor will be removed from the pardon and parole process, affirmatrive action programs in Oklahoma will be eliminated, yearly increases in property taxes will be capped at 3 percent, water bond sales were approved, and the tax on intangible items was eliminated.
