The 27th annual Fall Peace Festival is set for Sunday.
Peace House Director Nathaniel Batchelder says participating groups include the Sierra Club, OK Medical Clinic and Amnesty International, among others
"Visitors who come to the Peace Festival, they're just amazed. They're inspired," he told KTOK. "The services and missions (the groups) provide are not paid for by taxes. Therefore, they are things we can all support, such as adoptable children and women's rights."
Batchelder said pottery, crafts, carvings and other handmade items from places like Africa will be on sale.
The Fall Peace Fest runs 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Sunday, in the Hall of Mirrors inside Oklahoma City's Civic Center.
