Wagoner County authorities say it apparently took some real effort, and planning, for someone to steal parts of a big industrial air compressor.
Several shafts and housings, which each weigh about 2,000 pounds, were reported missing from a business near Coweta on Monday.
The equipment is valued at $350,000 and would have required a fork-lift to load, and most likely a flat-bed truck to haul the big pieces.
Authorities say the equipment was likely stolen to scrap the metal, and the items would be hard to conceal.
Anyone with information's asked to call the Wagoner County Sheriff's office at (918) 485-3124.
