Oklahoma City Councilman Skip Kelly says he's worried about the number of murders in the city, this year.

As of Tuesday, police have investigated 90 homicides in Oklahoma City during 2012.

"There are some numbers that have never been and will not be manufactured or tweaked, because they are what they are, ... dead bodies," Kelly told the city council.

He said he thinks may of the homicides involve gang members. Kelly told the city council he thinks the city needs to take advantage of all programs available to help young people avoid gangs.

"I think it's time for us to take a real serious inventory and see what is missing, what needs to be added and what we can do in reference to saving lives in the city of Oklahoma City," Kelly said.
