We're hearing from the author of one anti-abortion bill ruled "facially unconstitutional''by the Oklahoma Supreme Court.

A bill by Representative Randy Grau of Edmond sought to restrict the off-label use of certain abortion-inducing drugs. He said he thinks the trial court's ruling was wrong.

"It said that the Oklahoma Constitution guarantees the fundamental right to an abortion. Well, that had never been decided before," Grau told KTOK. "Our state Supreme Court did not address that issue at all."

Another bill by a different lawmaker would have required women seeking an abortion be given an ultrasound image, while listening to a description of the fetus.

The state Supreme Court ruled against both bills.
