Details still a bit sketchy now after an overnight accident that left a man dead after apparently being struck by a car on the city's southeast side.

It happened near the intersection of SE 29th Street and the I-35 Service Road as police claim many witnesses saw a vehicle run over a pedestrian.

One driver stopped and, according to our broadcast partners at NewsChannel 4 KFOR, is cooperating with investigators.

They're still trying to determine if only one vehicle struck the victim or if there were other cars that rolled over the dead man.

No word yet on the identity of the victim.
