Looking for two black male suspects now in an unusual double homicide case overnight in The Village portion of the metro.
When police arrived on the scene right before midnight, they thought it was a car wreck.
But when The Village Police took a closer look, they found that a woman had been shot multiple times. The victim later died.
Later it was determined to be a double homicide case, as the woman was six months pregnant at the time of her death.
The Village Police have identified the dead woman as 22-year-old Amber Dawn Stokke of Sunnymeade Place in The Village.
It happened near the intersection of Plymouth Lane and Sunnymeade Place.
Village Deputy Police Chief Steve Jagosh tells NewsRadio 1000 KTOK that witnesses say they saw a black man near Stokke's car as a shot rang out. They later saw the man and another black man flee the scene.
If anyone has any info on the case or the suspects involved, please call The Village Police at 405-751-9564.
