Another shooting in the Oklahoma City metro area...this one occurring in broad-daylight on the city's southeast side.
Oklahoma City Police Sgt. Jennifer Wardlow tells NewsRadio 1000 KTOK that it happened right after 8 a.m. at a used car lot in the 1000 block of SE 15th Street.
Sgt. Wardlow says the victim apparently noticed a suspicious-looking person on the lot and, when he went to check on that person, he was shot and wounded.
Sgt. Wardlow says the victim was taken to the OU Medical Center and that his wounds do not appear to be life-threatening.
Police are looking for a gold-colored Ford Expedition in connection with the shooting incident.
Sgt. Wardlow adds that if anyone has any info on the case, he or she should call CrimeStoppers at 405.235.7300.
