In a weekly report, the State Health Department now says 14 Oklahomans have died from the flu since the end of September and more than 600 persons have been hospitalized with flu complications. A majority of the victims have been elderly. Ten of the 14 flu deaths were among those age 65 or older. The victims ranged in age from 34 to 92. The flu deaths have occurred in Cleveland, Comanche, Creek, Mayes, Muskogee, Oklahoma, Pittsburg, Rogers and Tulsa counties.
