Oklahoma City Police are now confirming that it is a hit and run investigation...this after officers were called to the intersection of NW 10th Street and MacArthur Blvd. early this morning.

Shortly before 3 a.m., a passerby reported to police that a man's body was in the street, with a bicycle nearby.  One witness reportedly said the man's body had visible signs of blunt force trauma.

OKC Police MSgt. Gary Knight tells NewsRadio 1000 KTOK the victim has now  been identified as 58-year-old Joseph Helmka of Oklahoma City. 

MSgt. Knight also says police have no suspect yet..or suspect vehicle.
