Oklahoma City Archbishop Paul Coakley says he was saddened by Monday's announcement from Pope Benedict that the Pope will resign the end of the month. He told KTOK News he was suspicious at first and thought it might be a prank but then learned otherwise. He has met the Pope on many occasions and said he always found him mentally 'alert and astute'. He says the Pope has been a great teacher who has led the Catholic Church through challenging times with great wisdom and charity.
