Quick response from Oklahoma City firefighters apparently kept the flames from a porch fire from spreading to the main house.

It happened early today in the 600 block of SE 28th Street as firefighters responded to a porch fire.

There was apparently no one at the house at the time of the fire, as firefighters were able to knock down the flames before they spread to the rest of the structure.

No one injured in that fire and the cause remains under investigation at this hour.
