A small town in western Oklahoma may have set a snowfall record. The preliminary February snowfall total of 42.5 inches from the small Ellis County town of Arnett would break the state's all-time snowfall record for any month, according to the Oklahoma Climatological Survey. The record currently stands at 39.5 inches in Buffalo, set in February 1971.
