People from across Oklahoma are heading to the polls today as ballot propositions include various council races, school bond proposals, and sales tax measures.

And here in Oklahoma City, a couple of City Council seats are being contested.

Incumbent Gary Marrs in Ward 1 faces two challengers:  James Greiner and Carolyn S. Sims.

In Ward 7, incumbent Skip Kelly has 6 opponents:  John E. Bilbury III, Lillie R. Buckner, Randon Gibson, John A. Pettis, Jr., Ben T. Robinson, and Star Young.

City Council seats are also up for grabs in Nicoma Park and Moore.

A school bond issue has been set for those in the Rose State College district, and in the Cushing and Kremlin-Hillsdale school districts.

Sales tax propositions are also on the ballot in Enid and Newkirk.

The polls opened at 7 a.m. and will close at 7 p.m.
