A public meeting will be held Tuesday in Oklahoma City to hear public comments about the future Oklahoma City Boulevard. The meeting was originally scheduled for May 22nd but it was cancelled due to the tornado. The meeting will be held Tuesday, June 18 at 5:30pm at the former Coca Cola Bricktown Events Center at 429 East California Avenue. Free parking is available in the lot directly south of the building. The State Department of Transportation and the City of Oklahoma City are hosting the meeting. Officials say the focus will be to provide information about the state's ongoing Environmental Assessment of the Boulevard in coordination with the Federal Highway Administration and present alternatives being considered. They will also provide information about upcoming improvement projects to address operational issues regarding the east and west ends of the OKC Boulevard and the I-40 Crosstown corridor. There will also be a question and answer period and the opportunity for the public to visit one-on-one with engineers and planners and provide comments.
