State Election Board Secretary Paul Ziriax expects a light voter turnout Tuesday, despite heavy-duty Republican runoffs in the 2nd Congressional District in eastern Oklahoma and the 5th Congressional District in central Oklahoma.

However, Ziriax predicts turnout could be slightly higher in precincts deciding the Republican congressional runoffs.

Republicans also are deciding between John Crawford and John Doak as their Insurance Commissioner candidate. Voters will decide between the Republican runoff winner and incumbent Democrat Kim Holland in the November general election.

Democrats will vote in some precincts, where city and county runoffs and issues and state questions are on the ballot.
