Lawton police want to talk to a Ft. Sill soldier, after marijuana plants were found growing in a closet inside his apartment. Police Captain Craig Akard says a Ft. Sill official went to the apartment on Tuesday, after the soldier failed to report for duty or answer his phone. "The door was unlocked and when he went in, he saw tubes and wiring going into a closet. He thought it might have been explosive," Akard said. He said when officers arrived, they found a container filled with cut marijuana plants. Akard said the soldier's military identification card was also found inside the apartment. Lawton police estimate the marijuana has a street value of about $70,000.
