Oklahoma City Police say that two local men are, at last word, in critical condition at a local hospital after an overnight shooting on the city's northeast side.
MSgt. Gary Knight tells NewsRadio 1000 KTOK that the incident occurred in the 3200 block of NE 14th Place as officers found 64-year-old Henry Battles, Jr., and 58-year-old Larry D. Richardson wounded while lying in a front yard. Both men were taken to a local hospital.
MSgt. Knight says that the suspect, 17-year-old Jimmy Owens, apparently took a pickup truck belonging to one of the victims and fled the scene. He adds that Owens was found a short while later near West I-240.
Knight says that Owens faces various charges, including shooting with the intent to kill.
